(11/19/12) - Several student athletes from Central Michigan University could be
disciplined - depending on the outcome of a police investigation.
The Isabella County Sheriff Department says an assault complaint was filed
following a fight at the Copper Beach Townhomes.
The sheriff says a group of students got into a fight, and members of the
football and track and field teams were involved.
He says there were no serious injuries.
They are still interviewing witnesses. Once that is complete, the university
will decide if, and how, the students will be disciplined.
