Local families sign final paperwork on Adoption Day - ABC 12 – WJRT – Flint, MI

(11/20/12) - Some local families will have even more to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

Tuesday, many courtrooms celebrated Adoption Day with families signing the final paperwork needed to adopt a child in front of friends and relatives.

State officials say thousands of children are still in need of a permanent home.
