(11/21/12) - To celebrate the holidays, a restaurant in Saginaw was busy feeding the community Wednesday.
For the seventh straight year, the Savoy Bar and Grill provided free Thanksgiving dinners with all the fixings to anyone who came in to eat.
Last year, the business fed more than 400 people. They prepared to top that number this year.
The restaurants owners say times are tough and they just wanted to make a difference.
"It's heartwarming to be able to help somebody out, especially in these times when people don't always have the opportunity to have a whole meal, a whole hot meal and sit down and be served instead of going through a line or getting a bagged lunch or something like that," said Jim Atwood, co-owner.
Donations from the community helped make the event possible.
