ISABELLA COUNTY (WJRT) -
(11/28/12) - An Isabella County man is in jail Wednesday, after police say he attacked his wife with a meat hook.
Police say William Wilfong of Shepherd fractured his wife's skull in two places on Monday. They say she will be OK.
According to investigators, Wilfong attacked her after being served eviction and divorce papers.
Police say his wife was sitting on her parents' couch when he attacked her with the meat hook.
He went before a judge Tuesday, and he's facing several charges, including attempted murder.
