State-wide food drive held Friday - ABC 12 – WJRT – Flint, MI

(11/30/12) - Many people across Mid-Michigan are in need this holiday season. And you can help.

It's for the Michigan Harvest Gathering 2012.

The gathering is a state-wide food drive that stocks food pantries and kitchens across the state.

Donations are being taken at Secretary of State branches across the state Friday until 5.

Residents are asked to donate items like peanut butter and canned goods. Cash donations are also welcome.

Every dollar donated helps provide five meals to those in need.
