(12/06/12) - The former president of the Bay County Fair Board will spend nine months behind bars for embezzling money.
Michael Coyer was sentenced on Monday.
Michigan State Police say Coyer was withdrawing fair money from bank accounts and using it for personal expenses.
The investigation against Coyer started in January, when the current fair board discovered money was missing.
Coyer pleaded guilty to one count of forgery and embezzlement in July.
