FLINT (WJRT) -

(12/06/12) - Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy in Flint is the sole distributor of a recently approved drug to treat cancer.

COMETRIQ was approved in November by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to treat a progressive form of thyroid cancer.

Distribution of the drug is expected to begin in January.
