(12/08/12) - A Saginaw mother whose son was killed is trying to solve his crime.
And she is doing it in a way you may not expect.
Tiffany Goodman is playing the lead role in a play she wrote about her son's murder. Tiffany's son Ste'von was murdered three years ago in Saginaw.
His killer has not been caught, even though the was a witness who has not come forward.
It's called 'Speak Up. Speak Out. A Mother's Cry Against Violence.'
"Here in the city of Saginaw, within the last 24 hours, we've had three murders, so this is a play that people need to see and so I want justice not only for my son but my hopes are through this play someone will begin to speak up and speak out, report crimes, report murders," Goodman said Saturday night.
Tiffany is hoping her play will inspire witnesses of crimes to come forward.
She also hopes to move the play to Flint in February.
