MSP trooper hit by drunken driver - ABC 12 – WJRT – Flint, MI

(12/13/12) - Michigan State police say a trooper was hit by woman, who was driving drunk.

The accident happened at Midland and Chilson Streets, in Bay City, around 2 Thursday morning.

The trooper was on his way to assistant a Bay City police officer, when the woman pulled out from a side street and hit his patrol car.

The patrol car spun and hit a tree.

Both the officer and the woman were treated for minor injuries.

The woman is being held in the Bay County Jail. She has not been charged yet.
