GENESEE COUNTY (WJRT) -
(12/13/12) - Genesee County Sheriff Robert Pickell has declared another overcrowding emergency at the county jail.
There are 648 inmates in the jail now. The jail's capacity is 580 inmates.
Pickell says his department is working on reducing the inmate population.
This is the third time an overcrowding emergency has been declared at the jail.
