(12/22/12) - The Sanilac County Sheriff's Office is releasing new information about a gun theft case ABC12 has been following since August.

The sheriff reports his department has identified two teenagers who are accused of stealing more than 30 guns.

The break-in happened at 'Wild John's Party Store' in Greenleaf Township on Aug. 15. Handguns and long guns were taken.

Many of them were returned back in November, after ABC12 aired a story about an unrelated gun theft where the guns were used in two shooting deaths.

The sheriff tells us both teens are from Macomb County. One is 18 years old. The sheriff has not released the second teen's age. They have not been formally charged by a judge yet.
