(12/23/12) - A 16-year-old is dead after being gunned down in front of a church.
The shooting happened just before midnight near Bethany Street and Snelling Place.
When Saginaw Police arrived, they found the teen laying on the sidewalk.
Witnesses tell ABC12 they heard several shots.
People who live nearby are frustrated with the city's violence.
The shooting happened right in front of Bethel AME Church. Their pastor tells us it's heart-breaking, and neighbors say this kind of violence doesn't usually happen in their neighborhood.
"No heart. No heart. Just angry people who have a lot on their mind. They think the way it is to solve the problem is to kill another human being. But that's not the way," said Lashon Moore.
The 16-year-old is the 26th person to be murdered in the city this year.
