Trailer fire claims the life of 83-year-old woman

HURON COUNTY (WJRT) -

(12/23/12) - An 83-year-old woman died just before midnight Saturday night in a trailer fire.

Her home was located in the 200 block of Walker Road in Huron County's Meade Township.

A person driving by saw the flames and called 911.

The sheriff is not releasing her name until all of her family is notified.

Investigators will return to the trailer Sunday to try and figure out what started the fire.

An autopsy is tentatively scheduled for Monday to figure out how the woman died.
