
(12/26/12) - Donations are still coming in for a Mid-Michigan police chief whose home was destroyed by fire Saturday night.
Bob Kenny and his wife have three children, ages 2, 7 and 11 years old.
Since Sunday, donations have been dropped off at the Thetford Township office to help the family get back on its feet.
"I was overwhelmed when all the people came to give to the Kenny Family. They had a horrible loss. I think everyone was willing to give," said Roy Hatchett, Thetford Twp. police officer.
Donations of household items are still being accepted at the Thetford Township Office at 4014 East Vienna Road.
You can drop off clothing, furniture and food at the Thetford Township office, at 4014 E. Vienna Rd. from 1-5 p.m. on Wednesday, 8 a.m.-noon and 1-5 p.m. on Thursday and 9-noon on Friday.
