(01/22/13) - Firefighters say the sub-zero temperatures made it difficult to put out a house fire in Flint Township Tuesday afternoon.
The fire started in the garage and spread to the house on West Maple.
Firefighters say the wind also made it hard to put out the flames.
"We've set up some rehab, trying to get the firefighters warm, keep them out of the weather, but it's extremely tough when you have, especially the wind drove this fire very rapidly into the interior of the house," said Ed Blight, Mundy Township Fire Department chief.
Investigators say no one was at home during the fire. A cause is under investigation.
