(01/23/13) - The two 18-year-old men charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl at Heritage High School, in Saginaw Township, made a plea deal with prosecutors and will likely avoid prison time.
Deon Fleming and Preston Walker were 17 years old when they were arrested in December 2011 for allegedly assaulting the girl.
In exchange for pleading guilty to gross indecency between males and females, prosecutors dropped the criminal sexual conduct and conspiracy charges and recommend they not be sentenced to prison.
Fleming and Walker are scheduled to be sentenced in March.
