BURTON (WJRT) -
(01/24/13) - The Genesee District Library's Genesee Valley Branch, in Flint Township's Genesee Valley Mall, is closed until further notice while crews clean-up water damage.
The branch is closed until further notice.
It appears no books were damaged, just soaked floors, according to Branch Operations Manager Kelly Richards.
General Manager Ed McHale says there was a water valve malfunction inside of the building. The library and arcade next door were the only two store impacted.
Richards urges patrons to visit the next closest location - the Flint Township McCarty Library on Graham Road.
