GENESEE COUNTY (WJRT) -
(01/25/13) - In Genesee County, an endorsement for one of the candidates running for the 27th District State Senate Seat.
Teamsters Local 332 have endorsed State Representative Jim Ananich. Ananich is running for the seat left vacant by former Senator John Gleason, who was elected Genesee County Clerk.
A special primary election is scheduled for Tuesday, March 12.
Ananich is one of five democratic candidates running for the seat. There are two republicans as well.
