
(01/25/13) - Saginaw city leaders have a full day of meetings planned to work on next year's budget.
The 'Saginaw Council Retreat' is Saturday from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.at the Castle Museum.
The meetings are open to the public.
Public safety is expected to be a big part of the discussion.
The city is pursuing a plan to have the Saginaw County Sheriff's Department police the city. So far, a deal has not been reached. The sheriff has repeatedly said no to the proposal.
