(01/25/13) - A historic building in Downtown Flint is about to get a new tenant.
A move that will bring more students to the area along with more revenue.
Michigan State University is moving into the old Flint Journal building, located at First and Harrison in Flint.
MSU will lease 40,000 square feet of the building from the Uptown Reinvestment Corporation.
The university is expanding it's Public Health Program in Flint. MSU will use the building to provide space for newly recruited public health researchers.
The move will increase the number of third and fourth year students.
