FLINT (WJRT) -

(01/28/13) - Flint Police have identified the armed man, shot and killed by bank security guards Friday morning, as 52-year-old Michael Brown.

The Michigan Department of Corrections' website shows he had five prior convictions - including unarmed robbery.

Police now say Brown had a loaded, sawed-off rifle and empty bag with him inside of the Chase bank branch, on Corunna Road, Friday when he was killed.

Investigators say also had his face partially covered, refused to uncover it when asked by the guards and then also raised the rifle. Both guards shot.

Brown was suspected in at least two other robberies at that same bank.
