MIDLAND COUNTY (WJRT) -
(01/28/13) - A weekend car crash killed a 27-year-old Midland County man.
The accident happened just before 4 Sunday morning on Freeland Road, just west of Schreiber Road, in Midland County's Ingersoll Township.
Sheriff's investigators say Philip Lapinski was driving west on Freeland, when he crossed the center line, hitting an SUV driven by 84-year-old Williams Schwannecke.
Schwannecke and his wife survived.
Lapinkski died at the scene.
