(01/28/13) - The warm temperatures made it a little bit easier for drivers Monday afternoon, but even though conditions have improved, we're told subdivisions and gravel roads are expected to create the most problems for travelers. Road commissioners are still warning drivers to be careful.
Road crews in Genesee and Saginaw County were out Monday morning. They were putting salt down in the most impacted places.
In Genesee County, the main roads created the most problems earlier, such as Linden Road, Saginaw Street and the expressways.
Several accidents were reported throughout Mid-Michigan.
Genesee County Road Crews say they don't plan to put anymore salt down Monday night. They say that would be a waste of money because of the warm temperatures.
They do plan to go out Tuesday morning to see which areas are still bad.
