FLINT (WJRT) -
(01/29/13) - All nine Flint City Council seats are up for grabs this year, and nominating petitions are now available at the Flint city clerk's office.
If you'd like to run, you must be registered to vote in the city of Flint, in the ward you seek to represent.
You also must receive 100 petition signatures from registered voters in the ward you wish to represent. Those petitions are due May 14.
A primary election will be held Aug. 6, with the general election on Nov. 5.
