
(01/30/13) - The man charged in a highway shooting spree in four Michigan counties has been found competent to stand trial.
Raulie Casteel is accused of shooting at cars on and around the I-96 corridor, as well as in Shiawassee County, last fall.
A judge made the ruling Wednesday morning in court in Howell.
Another competency hearing is scheduled for Thursday in Novi.
One driver was hit by a bullet.
Casteel faces life in prison if he does go to trial and is convicted.
