(01/30/13) - General Motors is investing in southeast Michigan.
The automaker says it will spend $200 million on a new testing facility at its Pontiac engine and transmission engineering headquarters.
The company says the new 138,000 square foot wing will let it consolidate operations from four other facilities and add 400 jobs in Pontiac.
When the expansion is finished, GM will move development work from facilities in Wixom, Warren and two out of state factories.
