FLINT (WJRT) -
(02/01/13) - UAW Local 651 members in Flint have approved a strike authorization, following a full day of voting by its members.
UAW leaders say the measure passed with a 72 percent 'yes' vote.
Nearly 900 GM employees represented by the union, who make parts for Delphi, have been working without a local contract for two years.
Thursday's vote now gives the employees the ability to strike if GM doesn't agree to negotiate.
