(02/02/13) - The big game in the Big Easy on Sunday is inspiring folks right here in Mid-Michigan.
The "Soup Per Bowl" event took place this weekend. And, here's a hint, it involved food, bowls, and giving back.
If you weren't able to make it to Saturday's event, you can still donate to the homeless prevention endowment through the Metro Community Development office.
It's located in the Mott Foundation Building on South Saginaw Street in Flint.
Sunday, there is a resource fair, and a Pre-Super Bowl tail gating party is planned for those who have no place go for the big game.
It's being held from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Holy Angels Warming Center. That's located in the 500 block of East 5th Avenue in Flint.
