(02/05/13) - We will soon learn which company will be collecting waste for the city of Flint.
Flint's Emergency Manager, Ed Kurtz, plans to announce his pick Wednesday.
Last month, we learned Flint would out-source its waste collection to save money. The move is expected to save Flint about $1 million a year, as well as add recycling.
Kurtz said last month, the 24 employees affected would have the opportunity to be hired by the new company.
