(02/09/13) - A number of local actors tried out for an upcoming film called "Don't Wait Til Dawn" on Saturday.
It's a murder mystery that will be shot right here in Mid-Michigan.
Auditions took place at Sharky's Sports Bar in Burton.
The director, Brad Lyons, is a Flushing native.
He wanted to give people in his hometown a chance to kick off their acting careers.
"Always nice to put a positive spin on the area. More so being a Flushing guy and in the Flint area Mid-Michigan guy, I love the opportunity to bring jobs in different advancement opportunity right here in Flint and you don't have to go to LA or New York for it," Lyons said.
