(02/12/13) - Times are tough for so many families in our community right now, and several of the agencies who reach out to help people are simply overwhelmed. More and more people are struggling with the basics.
And for parents with young children, one of the hardest needs to meet is something most people take for granted - diapers.
The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan and ABC12 News are partnering up to make sure families have plenty of diapers for their little ones.
Monday morning, 250,000 diapers arrived at the Food Bank. There's also a number of agencies that will receive the diapers in the upcoming ABC12 News Diaper Drive.
