(02/13/13) - Central Michigan University is considering whether to expand - with a site in Detroit.
The Mount Pleasant school's Board of Trustees meets Thursday to consider a resolution that would allow the university to rent space in Detroit.
The school plans to spend no more than $143,000 a year on the lease.
The space would support a Global Campus, enrollment management and student services. There also would be offices and space for classes.
