(02/15/13) - Cabela's big grand opening in Saginaw County Thursday may have put a dent into a fraudulent check ring.
The Saginaw County Sheriff's Department says two people from the Detroit-area, were arrested - both accused of passing a bad check.
Their purchase was for more than $1,800.
A Cabela's employee noticed the check the two people used was similar to a fraudulent check that was used in at the store in Dundee.
Investigators believe they might be part of a bigger fraudulent check ring.
