(02/15/13) - One of Flint's automotive pioneers is taking shelter from the winter weather.
The Back To The Bricks committee has temporarily removed the statue of Louis Chevrolet from its spot in downtown Flint.
It's a precautionary move taken after ice forced some separation between the statue and its base.
It will be re-installed early this spring.
