(02/16/13) - Michigan State Police are investigating an armed robbery in Isabella County.
Troopers report the Next Door Food Store in Union Township was robbed.
That's in the 2000 block of E. Remus Road.
Troopers say a man walked into the store at 12:05 a.m. Saturday, and demanded money. They say he had a gun.
Investigators don't have much to go on.
The getaway car is described as 'dark' in color, likely a newer model car. It may have had a silver colored front grille with lettering, according to a release from MSP.
Witnesses didn't get a good look at the suspect either. They say he may have been a white man, with a dark complexion. He was wearing a dark coat and jeans. They say he was clean shaven, and had short dark hair.
