A local organization supported a healthy heart by dressing in red Sunday.
Members of the New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church dressed in red to raise awareness to heart disease.
The President of the New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church Heath Team Marsha Hill.
"We asked the cognation to dress in red because there is no better place. To keep your heart health in the church, it is the holistic approach and not only spiritual, physical and mental approach to heart awareness," said Marsha Hill, president of the New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church Heath Team.
Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women.
