FLINT (WJRT) -
(02/25/13) - Flint is raising the deposit on water accounts for rental properties from $100 to $350, starting March 1.
The increase is to help the city recover money lost from property owners who don't pay their water bill.
The increase is also expected to bring the city in line with current costs of services and fees charged by other communities in Genesee County.
