(02/26/13) - Voters in Flint are getting the chance to ask questions and voice their concerns to state senate candidates.
The forum for the 27th district senate race was held at the Flint public library Tuesday.
They've set up a space on the first floor of the library for the candidates to speak. The event is co-sponsored by the Flint Area League of Women Voters.
All seven candidates who will be running for the state senate seat in the 27th district were invited. That seat was formerly held by John Gleason.
The idea is to give voters a chance to learn about their candidates before they turn in their ballot. The primary election is March 12.
The audience will be allowed to ask questions and hopefully become a more informed voter.
ABC12's Dawn Jones hosted the forum.
