(02/26/13) - Vehicle City in Flint Township is well known for its motorcycle and ATV's. But soon, they'll offer a lot more to help draw in customers.
"We're seeing positive growth and we just want to keep that going and give back to our community and make this a place people would like to come," said Karri McLean, general manager.
The Harley Davidson dealer plans to add a concert area, a small diner and test track for their ATV's.
"People get the chance to test the machine out that they want to buy. It's going to be great for everyone to get the aspects of the ground clearance, rolling over rocks, logs, possibly going through a little bit of water," said Jason Minto, salesman.
"We really just want to make this a community friendly place where people like to come," McLean said.
The goal is make this sight a premiere attraction for people from around the state and beyond.
"We've always wanted to create an atmosphere, a destination location when we originally built this building it was to go along with a destination. We want people to come here every weekend, come hang out with us. Be our family," McLean said.
And in the process - give a boost to surrounding Flint Township businesses.
"When people see all the excitement going on, people are going to be in all the time wanting to know what's going on, what's happening, it's going to make this corner a lot busier, it's going to help business all around here. All the sandwich shops," Minto said.
Construction is expected to start in the spring.
