(02/28/13) - The Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce gave Mid-Michigan's business community a boost Thursday.
Current and aspiring business owners shared ideas and resources at the Chamber's Jump Start Conference in Mundy Township.
The plan is to not only help business owners find success, but to give them a reason to stay in Mid-Michigan.
"Jump Start, as one of the E-team members, my organization participates with other regional service providers in helping people seeing what the resources are that are available to them. Giving them an overview of some of the things they ought to be thinking about, knowing about, if they are starting a business or if they're actually in a business that might help them grow," said Marsha Lyttle, of MI-SBTDC.
This was the sixth year for the Jump Start event.
