FLINT (WJRT) -

(03/02/13) - The Riverfront Banquet Center in Downtown Flint was transformed into a passport around the world Saturday Night.

It was all for the 32nd annual Hurley Benefit Ball.

The black-tie dinner and silent auction raised money for Hurley's Acute Care For Elderly Program or ACE.

The Gala hoped to raise close to $200,000.

Co. Chairman of the ball, Mike Burnett says the night all went to the elderly.

"Our elder patients have very specific needs, everything from the height of the bed to the sheen on the floor to how to get around their unit and find their room everything is very specialized for the elderly. It requires more than just a typical hospital room," Burnett said.

Saturday's event is one of its biggest fundraiser of the year for Hurley Medical Center.
