(03/04/13) - A grocery store with several Mid Michigan locations is hanging up the help wanted sign. Aldi is hosting a job fair on Tuesday.
Tuesday's job fair is one of several recently. District manager, Shannon Jodoin, says the company is doing so well, they're hiring again.
"We find that our business tends to grow primarily through word of mouth, through our customers that have had good experiences telling others to come in and try us," Jodoi said.
This time, Aldi is looking for people to fill management positions at several of its Mid-Michigan locations. The future employees would start at $22 an hour.
"We're looking to employ people, we're proud to pay well and so we're just excited to see as many people from the community come out as possible," Jodoin said.
They're encouraging people from all employment backgrounds to apply. They could end up working at this Saginaw Aldi location or another location in Mid-Michigan.
"We would just ask that they bring information regarding their work experience. We're going to ask that they fill out an application when they do arrive so that we have a consistent application process for every candidate and obviously contact information," Jodoin said.
The job fair is Tuesday from 7 a.m. -6 p.m. at the Genesys Banquet Center in Grand Blanc Township.
