(03/04/13) - A 65-year-old man was found dead in a home in the 9000 block of Kristen Road in Forest Township, Friday evening.
The victim's name is Michael Arellano and police are still actively investigating. We went to Forest Township and found a state police forensics unit at the home where Arellano was found.
Arellano's son found him dead on Friday, and police say he was shot. They're calling this a homicide.
An arrest has been made, according to Michigan State Police Flint Post,
Post Commander F/Lt. Matt Bolger. Detectives are in the process of
seeking a warrant.
We talked to neighbors who didn't want to go on camera, but they tell us they're still in shock. They say they can't remember the last time there was a homicide in their township, and this whole situation is unsettling.
If you have any information on what happened, call the State Police Flint Post at 810-732-1111.
