(03/05/13) - ABC12 News has confirmed Saginaw City Manager Darnell Earley is a finalist for the Meridian Township manager's position. Meridian Township is in the Lansing area.
Earley is one of four people the township board selected from a pool of 23 applicants.
Interviews for the finalists will be held March 16.
Earley was one of five finalists in early 2012 for the East Lansing city manager's position, which eventually went to George Lahanas.
Darnell Early isn't the only Mid-Michigan candidate in the running for the Meridian Township Manager position. Current Grand Blanc City Manager Paul Brake is also a finalist. Brake was the Assistant Meridian Township Manager before coming to Grand Blanc in July 2011. He also served as a fiscal officer for Shiawassee County.
