(03/18/13) - A Flint woman has been charged in the December stabbing death of a man her friend once dated, according to police.
Marjani Abdur-Rahman, 23, faces one count of open murder in the December 9 death of 22-year-old DeMarkus Barnett.
Police say Abdur-Rahman and friends, one of whom had a prior relationship with Barnett, ran into him at a club and then again nearby right before he was killed.
Police say Barnett was stabbed once, near a carwash near North Averill and Robert T. Longway in Flint, around 2 a.m.
Abdur-Rahman is being held without bond in the Genesee County Jail.
