GLADWIN COUNTY (WJRT) -

(03/19/13) - There are new developments in a robbery at a gun shop in Gladwin County.

The sheriff's department needs your help tracking down two people.

One is a 'person of interest.' The other is described as a witness.

The robbery left the owner of Guns and Stuff in critical condition. Dick Robinette is at Hurley Medical Center in Flint. His family says he was hit in the head, and remains in a medically-induced coma. They hope police catch whoever did this.

The sheriff's department is looking for 25-year-old Charles Rowan. He is a person of interest in the case. They say he has connections to the Gladwin and Saginaw areas.

"He's a person of interest. Somebody we'd like to talk to," said Michael Shea, Gladwin County sheriff.

The sheriff is also asking for help locating 30-year-old Rosalinda Martinez. The sheriff says she was inside Guns and Stuff gun shop in Sage Township when it was robbed Monday afternoon.

Martinez called 911, and said she and Robinette were both hurt. Robinette, a 74-year-old man who just celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary in December, was immediately taken to the hospital. Martinez was questioned at the store, and allowed to leave to pick up her kids from the bus stop. The department has not been able to contact her since. They want to find her to make sure she is OK.

"We're looking to do a follow-up interview with her, to find out of course, how she is, if in fact she was assaulted to some degree. We know that she has some minor children that she needed to attend to, so we want to make sure that they're OK too," said Michael Shea, Gladwin County sheriff.

Dale Krahner has lived in the area for decades. He did some searching of his own when he heard what happened to his neighbors.

"I checked all my buildings, went down to my brother's. Told him all about it, checked his house. Called the neighbors. Then I got a cousin down here, we called her," he said.

Krahner says he locks his doors everyday, but is taking other safety precautions too.

"We're always aware. I got a, you know, like I say a concealed weapons license, and kept it, I keep it close," he said.

We now know that guns were taken from the store. It's unknown just how many. The ATF is involved with the investigation because of those stolen guns.

The sheriff also tells us he thinks the person responsible left the store on foot, and then made his way to a vehicle on a nearby road. That's where a K-9 unit tracked his scent.

"Actually followed a track to the south a way, through the woods, from the shop. Came out to Clandening Road. That's where the track ended," Shea said.

From there, they need your help to find whoever is responsible.

The ATF is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible. That reward is being matched by the 'National Shooting Sports Foundation', bringing the total to $10,000.
