ISABELLA COUNTY (WJRT) -
(03/19/13) - In Isabella County, a 50-year-old father has been formally charged with trying to kill his son.
Michigan State Police believe Jeffery Barager hit his 27-year-old son in the head with a hammer.
The attack happened Saturday in Wise Township, near Coleman.
Barager faces five charges. The most serious is 'assault with intent to murder'.
His bond was increased Tuesday, forcing him to return to jail after briefly getting out this weekend.
