GENESEE TOWNSHIP (WJRT) -
(03/20/13) - An elderly woman found inside her burning Genesee Township mobile
home has died.
Police say 71-year-old Elaine Metzger was pulled from her home by firefighters.
Metzger died a short time later at a Flint area hospital.
The call went out just after 5 p.m. Tuesday from Dutch Village Mobile Home Park.
That's near East Mount Morris Road and Dort Highway.
Investigators think the fire had an accidental start.
