GENESEE COUNTY (WJRT) -
(03/20/13) - Genesee County Community Mental Health is changing its name. The agency will now be known as Genesee Health System.
The CEO says the change will better reflect the broad range of services that are offered.
"We have moved beyond what was considered mental health, what used to be considered traditional mental health, looking at the individual head from here up. We have done a number of activities through the years, addressing the wellness and the whole body of our consumers, which is very, very important to us," said Danis Russell, of Genesee Health System.
Look for a series of new TV and print ads to alert the public of the name change.
