MONTROSE TOWNSHIP (WJRT) -
(03/22/13) - A Montrose Township barn storing more than 1 million feet of lumber caught fire, Friday morning.
It happened at a barn on North McKinley Road.
Seven fire departments from Saginaw and Genesee counties teamed up to put out the flames.
Firefighters say the size and location of the fire made fighting it even more difficult, and the closest hydrant was a mile away.
No one was hurt. The barn is a total loss.
